My friend Eli and i have been friends since we were both 8 years old. We both go to the same church. As you can tell by my picture I love to smile. This picture was taken during Christmas '98 and we were having a lock-in in my church, the people in the backgound are Nora(to the right) and Julia(behind me). They are also friend's of mine. And now a little more about myself: I was born on July 15, 1980. I have 2 brothers and one sister. My sister(MARA) is 25 years old, and then is my older brother(BENNY) he is 23 years old, and last but not least my pesky(j/k.) little brother(Abdiel, or A.J. as he is known in school). My older brother is getting married pretty soon. Well, now back to me, I am majoring in kinesiology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. For you geniuses who don't know what kinesiology is I am gonna explain it to you. It is just a fancy name given to those few and lucky people who want to coach and teach. I want to coach and teach because i want to make a difference in my community and also i want to help out kids that might need help. My interests include, playing football and soccer, running track, playing baseball, playing basketball(even though i am not too good at it. I also like to listen to music and hang out with my friends, also i like going to the movies and chatting on the net. I have two loving and un-derstanding parents. My mom is a great cook(she knows just how to do those meals that i love), I don't think there is anyone better than my mom to cook. My dad, has been a great father and also has been supporting me in all that i do. They have been married 25 years. | ||||||||||||||||

Lizette is very important in my life 'cuz when she was just one, she lost her mom in an accident. Her mom was like a second mom to me, and i too felt her loss. I have tried to look out for Lizette and to provide some stuff for her. I have always done my best to let her know and show her that I LOVE HER. Even though she is only 3 years old now, I know that someday she will understand all we(my family and I) have tried to do for her. I would never let anything happen to her. If at any point anyone tried to hurt her, they would have to deal with me too. Lizette has six brothers and one sister. These are their names and ages: Roberto Cabrera, Jr.(24 and is getting married in Sept. 18,1999), Isai E. Cabrera(23 and is getting married January 22, 2000), Mayra E. Cabrera(20), Raul Cabrera(18 and is my best friend), David Cabrera(14), Misael Cabrera(11), and Hugo A. Cabrera(10). Robert is getting married in September, and Isai in January. They both have been really helpful and have provided in the household. Robert has been like a second father to all of them and also to me. Mayra has been like a second mom to the little ones. Raul is my best friend, he has been with me through thick and thin also. He has been a loyal sidekick, my partner in crime(even though i have never committed one). Raul and I have grown together as more than just friends, we have become brothers, he knows stuff that nobody else knows about me. Everyone has contributed to the well-being of Lizette because they do not want to see her suffer. At times they have given stuff up for her and also have taken very good care of her. She is only 3 years old, but she is a handful, it takes everyone in her family to raise her. | This is one of the most important people in my life, Lizette Cabrera. | ||||||||||||||||

My sister, what can I say? Well, I just wanna tell u that my sister and I get along very well, she is more than just a sister, she is my best friend. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for her, i don't know where i where i would be. My parents have always been there for me when I needed something but my sister always managed to make sure that I always did what I had to do(good grades in school). Thanks to her, I am where i am today. She has been with me through thick and thin, she has always believed in me when no one else would. She has got to be the best friend that I have ever had. She does more for me than anyone in my life. She is so close to me that if I have a girlfriend, she has to approve(not that I listen to her all the time), she has helped me through my first year of college and has been an inspiration to me. She was the first one in my family to graduate from high school and from college. She has a degree as a Legal Secretary, even though she works in a doctor's office(weird, she never liked medicine or anything dealing with science). She has played a major role in my life, cuz if it hadn't been for her I would probably never gone to a Prom or Homecoming. She has done more for me than I can ever hope to do for her, and even though we might have our little arguments, she is still someone that I LOVE having in my life, not just as a sister but as a friend. Many times she has given stuff up for me and my little brother. Being the oldest, she has not had as much stuff as we(my little bro. and I) have had, and it's all because of our family and her. She is like my angel on earth. She has given me more than just material things, she has also given me love and great advice, and for that I am thankful. She has taught me how to be responsible and also that no matter what happens, she will be there to support me 100%. She has gone to great lengths so that I could get to where I am today. | ||||||||||||||||
